LITCHFIELD — The Litchfield City Council on Thursday, June 18, 2026, appointed Kerry Hopkins as city clerk, effective July 1, filling the post being vacated by Vicki Throne at the end of the month.
Mayor Jake Fleming introduced Hopkins as a familiar face at council meetings and “an outstanding citizen,” noting his volunteer work and long ties to the community. Hopkins said he works at a local bank — identified in the meeting as Litchfield National Bank — and volunteers with a community organization he named as Hearts United.
