Riverton Outlasts Litchfield 9-8 to Claim Home Showcase Victory

The Riverton varsity baseball team edged visiting Litchfield 9-8 in a tightly contested non-conference matchup during the Riverton Showcase on Saturday, April 11. In a high-scoring affair that tested the resilience of both dugouts, Riverton managed to push across the decisive run to secure the narrow home victory.

While specific play-by-play details and individual statistics were not reported for the contest, the final score reflects a back-and-forth battle where both offenses found consistent success at the plate. The one-run triumph provided a much-needed spark for Riverton, allowing the hosts to defend their home turf and improve their overall record for the 2026 campaign.
