SPRINGFIELD — Lincoln Land Community College provided several updates relevant to Montgomery County residents during its meeting on Monday, December 15, 2025, signaling progress in facilities and community partnerships in Litchfield.
A construction update report confirmed that the Litchfield Science Lab Renovation project is substantially complete. Funded by the DCEO Energy Transition Community Grant, the project is now in the final punch-list phase.
The board also approved a new affiliation agreement with Animal Medical Center Litchfield. This partnership will provide clinical experience opportunities for students enrolled in the college’s Veterinary Assistant Program.
In his President’s Report, college administration highlighted the results of the “Feed the Need” food drive held from October through December. While the drive collected over 2,000 items district-wide, 360 items were specifically collected in Litchfield to support the Montgomery County CEFS Pantry.
