Lincoln Impersonator Tours Hillsboro Historic Sites

Residents of Hillsboro were treated to a brush with living history recently as Abraham Lincoln impersonator Randy Duncan visited the city for a day of touring and community engagement.

Duncan visited several prominent locations, including the historic courthouse, the Harkey House, and Lincoln Plaza. During his visit, he also walked The Lincoln Trail, where he had the opportunity to visit with local students.

In addition to the outdoor sites, Duncan made a stop at the Montgomery County Clerk and Recorder’s office to meet with staff members.

The visit was coordinated in part with “Head to Hillsboro.” Organizers stated that the goal of the event is to have photos from the day featured on the cover or within the upcoming “Looking For Lincoln 2026” publication.
