The Litchfield City Council approved significant personnel changes on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, aiming to streamline operations within City Hall.
The council voted to approve a resolution setting the salary for a new Finance & Human Resources Coordinator at $60,000 for the 2026 fiscal year. City Administrator Breann Vazquez confirmed this was an internal promotion for a non-bargaining position designed to handle payroll and HR duties.
“We looked at everyone’s job description to ensure that work was evenly distributed,” Vazquez said.
Additionally, the council approved an agreement with MGT Impact Solutions, LLC. This one-year contract secures the services of Annmarie Mampe as a finance consultant at an hourly rate of $134.85 plus mileage and lodging. Vazquez noted Mampe’s expertise would be used for “high-level” governmental accounting requirements.
The council also amended city code regarding the Deputy Clerk. The position will now be a part-time role filled by Dawn Ashby, who will transition from her current “floater” position. She will work approximately 20 hours a week at $22.05 per hour to assist the elected City Clerk and the Building and Zoning Department.
