The Litchfield Park District Board met on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, to review maintenance projects and upcoming fall events. The board paused a renovation request from Litchfield Baseball Inc. regarding Schalk Field, requiring a formal presentation before work begins. Commissioners also addressed the decaying state of the Walton Park statue and discussed potential hiring for summer program planning.

In financial matters, the board approved the monthly financial reports and minutes from September. Commissioner Brian Kulick noted that budget and levy preparation will begin soon, urging commissioners to submit any specific requests to him or Director Steve Bryant.
