The Litchfield Park District Board is moving forward with plans to improve Juanita’s Trail using resources from the Richie Fund. On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, the board reviewed estimates for installing rip rap along the trail.

Two companies, De Laurent Construction and Lentz Excavating & Trucking, provided estimates for the work. Lentz was identified as the low bidder and was recommended to complete the project.

Before final approval, Director Steve Bryant is tasked with discussing the request with John Winan at Clockwise Financial to ensure the expenditure aligns with the fund’s guidelines.
