Located in the downtown area, Schalk Field is more than just a ball field—it is a tribute to Litchfield’s baseball heritage. The park is named after Ray Schalk, the legendary Chicago White Sox catcher (1912–1928) and Baseball Hall of Famer who called Litchfield home.

Facilities
This 3.1-acre park is the heartbeat of the Litchfield Baseball Association.

  • Diamonds: Features two youth-sized baseball/softball diamonds, both equipped with lights and scoreboards for night games.

  • Amenities: During the season, the park operates a concession stand, restrooms, and a batting cage.

  • Skate Park: The northeast corner of the park is home to the city’s public Skate Park.
