Whether you prefer the comfort of a cabin, the convenience of an RV, or the rustic charm of a tent under the stars, Lake Lou Yaeger offers a camping experience for every style of outdoor enthusiast. Nestled within the woodlands surrounding the 1,367-acre lake, the campgrounds provide immediate access to fishing, boating, and hiking, making it the perfect base camp for a weekend of adventure.
Camping Cabins (Glamping)
For those who want nature without the hassle of pitching a tent, the Camping Cabins are a popular choice. These recently updated one-room cabins come equipped with two double beds, air conditioning, and electricity. Inside, you’ll find a kitchenette with a dorm-size refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Outside, enjoy a private fire pit with a grill and a picnic table.

Bicentennial Campground (RV)
Designed for modern campers, the Bicentennial Campground features 18 sites tailored for RVs and trailers. Each site includes 30/50amp electric hookups and a water spigot. Families often choose this loop because of its proximity to the playground and pavilion, as well as the shower house.

Primitive Campground
True outdoor lovers can “rough it” in the Primitive Campground. These 30 tent-only sites offer a genuine connection to the landscape. While there is no electricity at the sites, campers have access to a shared water spigot, flush toilets near the parking lot, and shower facilities at the nearby campgrounds.
Equestrian Campground
Lake Lou Yaeger is a premier destination for horseback riders, offering a dedicated campground designed specifically for them. It features 25 electric sites (30/50amp) and 30 primitive sites. The facility is equipped with manure pits, hitching posts, and a shower house. Best of all, it provides direct access to approximately 25 miles of equestrian trails that wind through the property.
